NIACE publishes the following journals / periodicals:

• The Adult Learning Yearbook
  An annual directory of agencies involved in adult learning in the UK and abroad.
• Adults Learning
  A regular journal (10 issues pa) for those working with adult learners;
• Concept
  Concept is published three times year and edited by Mae Shaw of the University of Edinburgh. The majority of articles are from practitioners, alongside academics and political commentators.
• Studies in the Education of Adults
  Published twice a year in conjunction with the Standing Conference for Teaching and Research in Adult Education (SCUTREA); the Universities Association for Continuing Education and the European Society for Research on the Education of Adults. An exclusive online version is available to all subscribers.
• Journal of Adult and Continuing Education
  Aimed at academics, researchers, professionals and practitioners alike, the Journal of Adult and Continuing Education is published twice a year and edited by Professor Mike Osborne of the University of Stirling.
• Journal of Access Policy and Practice
  Published twice a year The Journal of Access Policy and Practice brings together refereed articles, book reviews and a debate section as well. An exclusive online version is available to all subscribers.
• Convergence
  Convergence is a major worldwide journal of adult education that addresses issues, practices and developments in the broad field of adult and non-formal education. It is published quarterly on behalf of the ICAE by NIACE.

NIACE publishes a wide range of free publications. These are available to download or order within the relevant project pages in the Projects / Research section of this website.

Purchasing Information

NIACE will only invoice organisations for orders of £35 and over.
If your order is less than £35, please send a cheque, or pay by credit/debit card by using the website or by calling (+44) (0)116 2044216.

Credit Cards:
NIACE accepts payment by credit/debit card (please note that we do not accept payment by American Express).
Please Note: If you do not wish to give your credit/debit card details over the Internet, you can place your order and give your payment details over the telephone, by fax or by post.

Invoice:
NIACE will invoice organisations for orders of £35.00 and above. Such orders must be on official headed paper or accompanied by an official order number. Cheque/Postal Order:
NIACE accepts payment by cheque/postal order. Cheques should be made payable to NIACE for the full amount of the order, including postage and packing.
